GRAMMY and BAFTA Award-winning singer, songwriter and musician Lukas Nelson adds to an already esteemed career with his latest album, 2023's Sticks and Stones. Produced by Nelson and his longtime band, POTR, Sticks and Stones was released to widespread acclaim and spent 8 weeks in the top 10 of the Americana Albums chart following its release. Additionally, Nelson achieved great success at radio with record, as the title track reached #1 on the Alt Country chart, while his single “More Than Friends” featuring Lainey Wilson, topped the Americana Singles chart. Of the album, The Wall Street Journal declares, “[Nelson] makes the genre his own…This is a fresh and welcome addition to what he’s offered so far,” while The Tennessean proclaims, “thoughtful, timeless Southern-style rock featuring anything from introspective lyricism to virtuoso-style musicianship.”
In addition to his own projects, Nelson also co-produced the music for 2018’s lauded film, A Star Is Born, in addition to appearing in the movie and went on to win a BAFTA Award for Best Original Music and a GRAMMY Award for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media.
Since his debut over a decade ago, the Texas and Hawaii-based artist has released eight studio albums and performed countless sold-out shows and festivals. Known for his electric concerts, Nelson will continue to tour through this year including upcoming headline dates in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Las Vegas as well as select shows supporting Whiskey Myers this spring.
