ABOUT
Under the moniker of Loyal Lobos, Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter Andrea Silva mines memories of a childhood growing up in the countryside of the Colombian capital, Bogotá, and her experiences as a young adult to create poetic, painterly music that makes sweeping allusions to love, sexuality, and femininity.

Silva was first introduced to music through her kindergarten teacher, who made her the soloist in the choir for every funeral and school graduation. Guitar lessons soon followed, and music became her first and most important outlet to process emotions. She moved to Los Angeles at age 18 and there, Loyal Lobos was born.

Silva and her close musical collaborator Evan Voytas began recording with producer and songwriter Teddy Geiger (Lizzo, Shawn Mendes, Leon Bridges), as executive producer for what later became her debut album Everlasting. The debut—a work that blends gigantic pop hooks with Latin rhythms, ethereal

shoegaze, and traditional folk—is, as Silva explains, “a place where there are no rules.” She sings in both English and Spanish, drawing on every part of her history, while her songs cover the landscape of 21st century rock with dazzling, genre-blurring ambition.

“I’ve never been one thing,” Silva says. “I always struggled with not fitting in one category. I felt I was too not-American to do folk music, and not Latin enough to do Latin music. For this album, I created my own space.”

In 2022, Loyal Lobos signed with Saban Music Group and returned with two of her best singles to date: "Bummed” and "You're Nobody.” The tracks, co-produced by Loyal Lobos and Voytas, mark her first new music since 2021’s standalone singles, “Hate My Face” and "Amor Como Puñal.
