ABOUT
Just For Fun, the London based duo, leave nothing to the imagination when it comes to creating their own world.

Having met during a writing session for another artist back in 2021, they’re no strangers to the world of music yet despite that, all roads have led to ‘Just For Fun’. Their music is a coming of age symphony that allows for both confidence and vulnerability layered with an unwavering sense of female empowerment. The clash of seamless electronic production and guitar melodies adorned with synth lines not too dissimilar from the likes of Justice or MGMT make for the perfect home to playful vocals. It makes you want to jump up and down like you did at your first ever gig, stick a middle finger up to the patriarchy as the final act of rebellion and rewatch box sets of Skins for the sake of nostalgia. Juxtaposing the noise is a quiet depth, similar to the feeling of listening to your favourite song on the bus alone on your way home from a night out. Above all that however, and somewhat quite obviously, it’s unapologetically fun.

Music aside, the duo are currently making waves online with content paying homage to the days of heavy flash imagery and DIY at home videos, a suitable visual accompaniment to the sound of the millennium. With a future undoubtedly destined for greatness you’ve got yourself a project that is defying what it means to be current but in doing so, creates something that is timeless. It’s Just For Fun’s world, and we’re all about to be living in it.
