NAME:
Gabriella Rose
ABOUT
Gabriella Rose is a breakout force in country music, known for her genre-bending sound and evocative storytelling. Growing up between a small farm in Northern California, and a ranch in Sandpoint, Idaho, Gabriella’s music reflects a rich tapestry of influences.
Raised on a mix of classic country, hip-hop, and soul, she draws inspiration from legends like Tammy Wynette, Bill Withers, Bruce Springsteen, Patsy Cline, Bobbie Gentry, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, N.W.A, Wu-Tang Clan, Tupac, Biggie, and The Fugees.
A born performer, Gabriella’s earliest musical memory is grabbing the microphone at her mom’s wedding at just five years old to belt out Rihanna’s “Umbrella.” Though she grew up singing in church, it was her love of songwriting that truly ignited her passion for music. She began writing her own music at 14 when her brother taught her how to bluegrass pick. She fell so deeply in love with the songwriting process that she knew she wanted to do it for the rest of her life. She recorded her first project at 14, and released her debut record at 17.
For Gabriella, songwriting is more than just words and melodies—it’s a deeply creative process that feels like painting a picture, solving a complex equation, or weaving a compelling story. Drawing from personal experiences, imaginary characters, and cinematic inspirations, Gabriella crafts songs that transport listeners to vivid worlds. Whether she’s writing from the point of view of a made up character, or tapping into the perspective of herself as a scared little kid, her music explores themes of redemption, faith, and the complexities of human emotion—often balancing profound introspection with lighthearted fun.
Music has become a way for Gabriella to reconnect with God in a very personal way after a long journey away. Her faith has been a guiding light on her path of healing, teaching her that redemption is possible—even in the darkest places—and that no one is too far gone to change. Through her music, she hopes to share this message of hope to the world.
Her most recent release of a five-song EP, Wait Til I Get My Money Up, is only the beginning. Gabriella is excited to release more music in 2025 and keep pushing boundaries with her sound. Keep an eye out for her on tour in the near future.
Fun fact: Before pursuing music full-time, Gabriella was on the verge of joining the LAPD academy—a far cry from the path she’s now blazing in country music.
___
Gabriella’s musical muses are as diverse as her eclectic style and sound.
When asked to describe her sound, Gabriella said that while she is heavily inspired by classic country, she loves intertwining classic melodies and classic concepts with other genres. “I like to ask, what would happen if I could make a Madonna record sound like a Patsy Cline track? Or what if I took an ABBA chord progression and made it bluegrass. Or let’s make a Patsy Cline song with a hip-hop lyrical breakdown.”
