ABOUT
Eem Triplin has grown into one of his generation's most promising rappers. Today, the 24-year-old Pennsylvania native continues to evolve with each milestone as he rises from viral phenom to accomplished artist. Earlier this year saw the release of his debut album, MELODY OF A MEMORY, which spanned 13 tracks and was crafted by a team of producers led by Eem and executive-producer Dahi (the GRAMMY-winning sound architect, formerly known as DJ Dahi), along with Matthew Castellanos and Eem's frequent collaborator Charlie Myles. Songs like "23," with its tuneful 808s and room-enveloping synth pads, and the cinematic "Out Miami," a collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign, rewarded headphone listens. While "FIJI," a collaboration with the R&B group Cruza, slows down the tempo to highlight tinker-toy keys and sirenic synths, and gained support from critics and talent such as Sexyy Red.
MELODY OF A MEMORY was the culmination of a two-year-long rise from bedroom producer to budding rap star. Eem started his career producing for artists like $NOT, whose early support encouraged him to keep building his own world and pursue an artist project. He built a profile with viral hits like "AWKWARD FREESTYLE" and "JUST FRIENDS?," each gaining tens of millions of streams across platforms and earning him his first RIAA gold certification. Eem released his debut EP, STILL PRETTY, in Summer 2023, earning acclaim for songs like "WALKED IN" and "TELL ME I'M RIGHT."
Eem dedicated the time between STILL PRETTY and his last project MELODY OF A MEMORY to continuing to build a loyal fanbase, performing live as an opener for artists like Bryson Tiller, LUCKI and his good friend $NOT, showing out at festivals like Rolling Loud, and European fests like Clout Festival and Splash! Festival, and performing his first-ever headlining show in his small hometown of Johnstown, Pennsylvania. In 2024, Eem performed his first headlining tour, the "STILL PRETTY North American Tour," selling 11,000 tickets across 21 shows (90% sell out), released fan-favourite singles like "stephanie," and collaborated with Camila Cabello on her song "Baby Pink," and was featured on “New Friends” by Columbia Record’s newest star, Malcolm Todd.
With over half a billion streams across his catalog in the bank and even more new music on the way, Eem is keeping fans well fed as he builds toward his sophomore album.
