Dankie Sounds was launched back in August 2021 at a time when the infectious sound of Amapiano was unarguably the sound of summer. With the aim of being the number 1 hybrid event within the Amapiano scene; the shows provide a unique musical experience for its attendees where they, the DJ’s and the instrumentalists are the main attractions.
Simply put, it’s the energy of the music and attendees that makes this event so special. Having hosted a 3-month residency at Near & Far Camden to launch with 130 people to now hosting events at Studio 338 with 1800 people. The event has already hosted an event overseas in the motherland of Africa, Ghana and continues to increase in popularity and demand.
